The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) conducted a school-based registration for the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) at General Emilio Aguinaldo National High School (GEANHS) on November 20-21, 2023.
The activity was participated by students and teachers who have not yet registered for the national ID. The school-based registration aimed to provide convenience and accessibility to the registrants, especially those who are minors and need parental consent.
The PhilSys is an identification system that aims to provide a valid proof of identity for all Filipinos. The PSA encourages everyone to register for the PhilSys and be part of the #IDnatinTo movement.

General Emilio Aguinaldo National High School (GEANHS) participated in the 4th Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on November 10, 2023. The drill aimed to test the preparedness and response of the school community in case of a strong earthquake.
Upon hearing the emergency siren at 9:00 AM, all learners, teachers, and personnel immediately dropped to the ground, covered their heads and necks. After a minute, they evacuated to the designated assembly areas following the exit signs and routes.
Once everyone was safely evacuated, the drill was concluded with a debriefing session. The school's Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) team reviewed the drill and identified areas for improvement.
The drill was supervised and assisted by various stakeholders, including the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), the Philippine Red Cross Cavite Chapter, Barangay Palico IV, and the School Parents-Teachers Association (SPTA). They provided guidance, feedback, and support to the school community during and after the drill.
The NSED is a quarterly activity that aims to promote a culture of safety and resilience among Filipinos. It also serves as a reminder to prepare for the possible occurrence of the "Big One", a magnitude 7.2 earthquake that could strike Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
