GEANHS Receives Donations from Bangkito Restaurant

Mr. Daryll Kamantigue De Ocampo, chef and owner of Bangkito Restaurant generously donated various supplies to be used for daily school operations: face masks, alcohol, cleaning supplies, and pens.

Department Heads, Mrs. Elizabeth Z. Villanueva and Mrs. Crisanta F. Caudal, accepted the donations on October 30, 2020.

Bangkito Restaurant is a local business located in Bautista St. Satorre Road, Poblacion 2-A in Imus City, Cavite, which offers Filipino dishes in affordable prices
 

Pandian Receives Batang Bagani Special Citation

On World Children’s Day on October 30, 2020, the National Quincentennial Committee (NQC), in partnership with the National Historical Commission of the Philippines, DepEd, and DSWD, announced the top 3 entries of the Batang Bagani Kiddie Art Project.

Nizrien Pandian received Special Citation as one of the Top 3 Batang Bagani Kiddie Art Project for her work entitled "The Greatest Achievement".

"Ang sukatan ng tagumpay ng isang tao ay ang isama at ibahagi ito sa kapwa," Pandian shares in her entry. "Ako, bilang isang batang Pilipino ang isang tunay na tagumapay ay iyong nagagawa para sa iyong kapwa," he added.

With the theme "Victory and Humanity in Me", Batang Bagani Kiddie Art Project aims to feature the meaning of victory and humanity in a Filipino child, in solidarity with the 500th anniversary of the Victory at Mactan.
 

UCC Donates Storage Boxes for Modules

Unida Christian Colleges visited GEANHS on October 20, 2020 to donate storage boxes which can be used as storage of modules for learners. With the number of modular learners growing, storage supplies will be beneficial for efficient storing of modules.

Mrs. Lerma . Peña, Principal IV, and Department Heads received the donations from a UCC representative.

UCC is a Christian academic institution located in Anabu 1-F, Imus, Cavite, Philippines. The institute currently offers Pre-Elementary, Grade School, High School, and College
 

ARD Fuentes Visits GEANHS' MDL And ODL Hubs

Dr. Ruth L. Fuentes, DepEd CALABARZON Assistant Regional Director visited GEANHS on October 20, 2020 to monitor the implementation of MDL and ODL.

 

Together with Dr. Rosemarie D. Torres, SDOIC Schools Division Superintendent, Mr. Ivan Bryan L. Inductivo, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, and Mrs. Lerma V. Peña, school principal, ARD Fuentes visited the Modular Distance Learning (MDL) and Online Distance Learning (ODL) hubs.

 

In the MDL Hub, ARD Fuentes checked on available modules and other printed resources. She also inquired on module distribution processes from MDL teachers.

 

When she visited the ODL Hub, ARD Fuentes observed teachers conducting online synchronous classes, and Department Heads monitoring ODL teachers

GEANHS Welcomes S.Y. 2020-2021

The COVID-19 pandemic resulted to lengthened quarantine protocols which delayed the opening of classes. However, due to the continuous decline of cases, the Office of the President announced that classes may begin on October 5.

 

Different from the usual opening of classes, only teachers gathered for the first flag ceremony of the school year. To ensure smooth conduct of first day of classes, Dr. Marciano Valles, EPS in MAPEH and GEANHS' Parent Supervisor, visited the school for the Oplan Balik Eskwela monitoring and technical assistance.

GEANHS Receives E-Jeep from Imus Gov't

GEANHS is one of the recipients of 35 electric-powered jeepneys distributed by the City Government of Imus on October 1, 2020. Spearheaded by Hon. Mayor Emmanuel L. Maliksi and Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Rosemarie D. Torres, the project was conducted in preparation for the opening of classes on October 5.

 

The e-jeep will help in the distribution of modules to students, as part of distance learning implementation
