Headed by Ms. Marites R. Peñaredonda, teachers from English Department and Student English Organization (SEO) finally concluded the SCHOOL-WIDE SPELLING BEE 2023. This activity aimed to help bridge the learners' literacy gap and nurture their love for reading by improving their spelling ability and expanding their vocabulary.
Spellers from different grade levels who outsmarted their opponents in the Semi-Final Round nailed their respective Final Round yesterday, as they were challenged to spell out broad selection of words with varying degrees of difficulty. This nail-biting match ended with close scores of the declared winners!

As part of its initiative to augment emergency and disaster response and to amplify information dissemination, Smart Communications representatives, Ms. Mary Beth S. Pili and Mr. Noel Chunsim oriented GEANHS administrators, SDRRM Team, and ICETS personnel on the features and functions of Smart Infocast today, at the VIP Conference Room.
Through this partnership, GEANHS will receive ten thousand pesos worth of text blasts to boost and expedite communication and announcements to learners, parents, and school personnel.
Present during the orientation is the school principal, Mr. Arturo P. Rosaroso, Jr., who underscored how this partnership can be beneficial to keeping the safety of the entire school community.

Ipinakita ng mga Emilian na sa sunog, walang sinuman ang nag-iisa sa ginanap na Unannounced Fire Drill ngayong araw, Marso 29.
Kasama ang buong puwersa ng School Disaster Risk Reduction Management (SDRRM) Team at Junior Medics, ipinaliwanag ni Mr. Marlon Q. Martinez, SDRRM Chief, ang kahalagahan ng pagiging handa laban sa sunog. Nagbigay din siya ng Fire Safety Tips para maiwasan ang nakakapinsalang sakuna sa bahay man o sa paaralan.
Patuloy ang mga hakbang ng ating paaralan upang mapanatiling ligtas ang bawat batang Emilian.

In support of the 2023 Girl-Child Week Celebration and as part of the school's advocacy to promote gender equality among learners, the school organized a Forum on Adolescent Health on March 28 at the Entablado ng Karunungan para sa mga Batang Emilian.

Ipinamalas ng mga Emilian ang kanilang taglay na talento sa sining ng spoken word sa pamamagitan ng isang patimpalak na inihanda ng Araling Panlipunan Department ngayong araw, sa pangunguna ni Ms. Ernalyn L. Miranda.
Bahagi pa rin ng selebrasyon ng National Women's Month, nagsulat at nagtanghal ang mga mag-aaral mula sa ika-9 at ika-10 na baitang ayon sa temang "WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society."
Matapos ang masusing deliberasyon, inihayag na panalo sa kani-kanilang baitang sina Janrey Prince Sayoc mula sa 9-Mendeleev at Jzyrh Auie O G. Sullano mula sa 10-Socrates.
Malaking bahagi ng tagumpay ng programa ang mga guro ng Filipino Department, kung saan kasama sa mga hurado sina Ms. Anna Leah M. Cruz at Ms. Irish V. Baquiran.
Kabilang din sa nagsuri ng mga kalahok si Mr. John Verlin Santos, isang eksperto sa spoken word at ang tagapagtatag ng Titik Poetry, isang organisasyon na naglalayong gamitin ang sining para sa edukasyon. Sa kanyang mensahe, hinikayat niya ang mga mag-aaral na linangin ang kanilang mga kakayanan sa pagsulat ng tula.

Top finishers of the Quarter Final Round bested their fellow spellers after garnering the highest total scores in easy, average, and difficult rounds.
The qualifiers will continue to compete at the Semi-Final Round of this School-Wide Spelling Bee on March 27, Monday.

Ipinakita ng mga mag-aaral sa ika-9 baitang ang kanilang angking galing sa pagsasayaw sa tema ng mga pistang Pilipino ngayong umaga sa GEANHS covered court.
Ilan sa mga itinanghal ng mga Emilian ang Ambuyog Festival, Tuna Festival, Bangus Festival, Panagbenga, at Mamangui Festival.
Sa pag-gabay ng mga guro ng MAPEH, layon ng aktibidad na mahubog ang kahusayan ng mga mag-aaral sa sayaw, na bahagi ng Physical Education (PE), at malinang ang kaalaman ng mga kabataan sa makulay na kultura ng bansa.
Magpapatuloy ang programang ito hanggang Biyernes, Marso 24.

Ginanap ang pagtatalaga ng mga bagong miyembro ng Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) ngayong hapon sa GEANHS covered court.
Sa pagsisimula ng programa, nagbahagi ng pambungad na mensahe ang punongguro ng paaralan, 𝗚. 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗼 𝗣. 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗼 𝗝𝗿. Hinikayat niya na maging mga lider sa kani-kanilang larangan ang mga Emilian na BSP.
Sabay-sabay na nanumpa sa Scout Oath and Law ang 86 na mga bagong scouters ng paaralan mula sa iba't ibang baitang, kasabay ang pagsisindi ng kandila. Nakibahagi rin sa seremonya ang mga magulang sa pamamagitan ng pagsusuot ng necker at slides sa mga bagong scouts.
Sa pamumuno ni 𝗦𝘁𝗿. 𝗘𝗱𝗰𝗼𝗿 𝗕. 𝗘𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗹 ng BSP Cavite Council, idineklarang ganap na scouts ang mga nakilahok sa nasabing investiture.
Nagpasalamat naman sa suporta ng mga magulang si 𝗦𝗰𝘁𝗿. 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗺𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘆 𝗘𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗯𝗶𝗼, School BSP Coordinator.

Ginanap ang 𝗞𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝘀𝗸𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻: Campaign for Anti-Bullying, Anti-Harassment, Anti-Illegal Drugs, and God-Centered Life sa GEANHS Covered Court ngayong umaga.
Pinangunahan nina 𝗣𝗟𝗧𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗘𝘂𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗩. 𝗝𝘂𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘇𝗮, 𝗣𝗦𝗦𝗚 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗹𝗶 𝗢. 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗮, at 𝗣𝗦𝗦𝗚 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲 𝗩. 𝗔𝗯𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘀 ng Cavite Police Internal Affairs Service ang talakayan ukol sa pagpapalago ng buhay ispiritwal tungo sa pag-iwas sa bullying, harassment, at paggamit ng ipinagbabawal na gamot.
Ibinahagi rin ni 𝗚. 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗼 𝗣. 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗼 𝗝𝗿., Principal IV, ang kanyang adhikain para sa pagpapa-unlad ng ugnayan ng kabataan at kapulisan tungo sa pagpapababa ng kriminalidad sa lipunan.
Nakilahok ang class officers ng bawat klase mula sa ika-7 hanggang ika-10 baitang, kasama ang mga miyembro ng student clubs and organizations.
Matagumpay na idinaos ang aktibidad sa paggabay ng Guidaance and Discipline Office, Gender and Development (GAD), at lahat ng student clubs and organizations.

Education Program Supervisors (EPS) from DepEd Region IV-A CALABARZON provided Technical Assistance (TA) on GEANHS' application for recognition on the implementation of Special Curricular Programs on March 15, 2023 at the VIP Conference.
Mr. Eugene Ray F. Santos, EPS in English, and Mr. Marvelino M. Niem, EPS in Science/Math, led the regional TA on GEANHS' five curricular offerings: Special Program in Journalism (SPJ); Science, Technology and Engineering (STE); Special Program in Sports (SPS); Special Education (SpEd) Program; and the Alternative Learning System.
The programs' respective coordinators presented the profile, accomplishments, and needs of each offering: Ms. Melanie Mae Moreno for SPJ; Ms. Lenie S. Villaluna, for STE; Ms. Merriam Montes for SPS ; Mr. Raul Falogme for SpEd, and Ms. Judith Indonela for ALS.
As part of the monitoring, the TA team also the school's classrooms, laboratories, simulation rooms, and other related facilities.
The regional TA team, division experts, and the school collaborated in addressing the bottlenecks, lags, issues, and concerns towards the recognition of GEANHS' special programs. In his provision of TA, Mr. Santos acknowledged the school's efforts in crafting such programs. "The fact that you continued these programs amid the pandemic proves that it is already a milestone. What I see is passion for the craft," he said.
"Kasama ninyo kami upang matagumpayan ang ating mga programa," Mr. Niem added as he ensured the participants on the support of the region on this endeavor.
Present also in the activity were DepEd Imus City Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Ivan Brian L. Inductivo, the Chiefs of Functional Divisions, and Education Program Supervisors from the division office.

Nakibahagi ang ating paaralan sa unang National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) ng taong 2023 ngayong hapon.
Sa pagtunog ng batingting sa ganap na ika-2 ng hapon bilang senyales ng simula ng earthquake drill, sabay-sabay na isinagawa ng mga mag-aaral, guro at kawani ang 'duck, cover and hold' at evacuation procedures ayon sa contingency plan ng paaralan.
Pinangunahan ng School Disaster Risk Reduction Management (SDRRM) Team ang nasabing aktibidad, kabilang ang Junior Medics na nakilahok sa simulation exercises.
Layon ng NSED na maging handa at ligtas ang ating paaralan at komunidad sa banta ng lindol.
